More like it was a gift she received but never used so she asked if I wanted it :P

It's probably a little cutesy for other people, being a thick walled ceramic pot with top of the removable lid being a tanuki.  However, it retains heat well and is the perfect size for 1-2 portions for the cups I use, so I don't mind using it as my go to pot at home.

I find myself going straight from kettle to cup lately. I tend to start making some for me and the wife wants a cup, too.

Got tea from Butiki Teas! I got the Bai Mu Dan and Moroccan Mint. http://butikiteas.com/Teas.html and, they gave me 2 free samples so I got the Jasmine Pearls and Silver Needle.

It's funny how one message can turn a year old thread into a happening place

Seriously, this thread was necro'd from the deep depths of this forum.

I was on the sideline, with an elegant bowl of Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls watching the thread come and go......and come back.

Hi

I feel kind of lucky that I was able to find this last one from the store, shame that they are not producing more :(

Fancy Formosa Dragon Oolong from The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.

Any good? I'm not a fan of Oolong's, it tastes like butter to me. Not my thing.

uhhhhh....sounds like you tried milk oolong and decided you didn´t like any oolong. I think oolong has more variety than any of the other major tea classifications :)
