Tea-Fi? - Page 20

I ended getting with a long-time acquaintance and standby - Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls from the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Their stores always tend to be around my residences...(around West LA).

In fact, the 6 or so empty tea tins marked "Audio" are tins from my JDPP's purchases! The older tins look much nicer than the newer ones. Will post sample tins later this week...

AppleMark

Here's my tea! Astounding right? All that tea for $30 and free shipping if your order is $30 or more. They even wrote on my order form! I love small companiesbiggrin.gif So right there is the Wonders of Kashmir brewing. An insane tea, these are the ingredients: Pai Mu Tan white tea, Darjeeling green tea, Lung Ching green, Mountain Fog green tea, sweet corn, pineapple bits, pineapple flavor, papaya bits, jasmine  and guess what? It was absolutely delicious. If your thinking the same thing, what are those ingredients?? My mom thought the same thing, she thought it was delicious too.

Finally got inspired enough to brew some green tonight. Not fresh tea though so it might taste awful. Put some honey in to sweeten it up a tiny bit. Here's hoping.

Better than I thought it would be. Seems this old tea still has a bit of life in it.

I think the water I used helped as well. We have awful tap water here so I used some bottled stuff.

Below, a sample of tins for Gold Line's Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearl tea. From right-to-left, circa appx 1999-2005; 2005-2009; 2009-current. I do NOT like the current tin on the left. Each time I re-order, I simply dump the new pearls into the middle tin, which is my fav of the three.

I use an Adagio Ingenuitea to brew at work!
