Sources (other than Allied) for STAX connectors - Page 2

Does anybody know a source for jecklin float headphone connectors (female) too?

Hirschmann connector on the jecklins, right?

I think the short answer is "No."

Yup, it's a Hirschmann connector long OOP. I did find it online a few years ago but the link is long gone.

So far I have seven people interested in receiving some Amphenol female Stax type jacks. Please make sure I have your mailing address. Everyone will get six. I'll keep this offer open until Friday AM, at which point I'll do a single group mailing.

Best solution with jecklins is probably to just replace all the hirschmann connectors with XLRs.

Well, if you can get XLRs rated for high enough voltage, i guess.

Most of the XLR's can withstand 1500VDC but that's running them right on the edge.

What a guy. I have one in service as I write. Thanks Again Frank!
Frank, the ones you gave me are all 6 pin but the center hole was empty. Would you happen to have any with the center pin?
Thanks Again, Joe

Hi, I've just found this thread. I know I'm after the deadline, but is it still possible to get some female connectors for the new STAX amp I want to build. I'm in Australia so I'd send the postage, and am in no hurry so they could be sent at your convenience. It'll take me a while to get it happening as some of the transformers used are being custom made.
Cheers
Brett
