I have the HFI-650, which are very similar to the HFI-700 (which began as a tweaked HFI-650 to have deeper bass for movies & gaming; originally it was called the HFI-650 DVD).

Anyway, my HFI-650s are my portable cans. It sounds great, folds up nicely for travel, and can be driven directly by my iPod (or your Zune), no problem.

kool, thanks, but do they still sell the 650, is their any difference in sq, and does the 9 ft. cable ever get in the way?

Guys that was another of Dex bad jokes and his darn European sense of humor!!!! And I think that I do not need to clear too much that he is the one on Jacky D.

In any case I recall only one offer to audition them that I have made, to a very nice and charming member, unfortunatelly she lives too far away....

650 is slightly more refined in the treble, but with less bass. The 9 foot cable come in handy when I want to skip rope. But, seriously, it remains tucked away in my bag. The HFI-650 is currently available only in Europe, but you could e-mail Ultrasone USA and inquire about a special order.

ok, thanks, i have a hard decision to make. Think i will get the ES7 first, then the 700's afterwards.
