hey, would you guys say that the HFI 700 are a good headphone, and do they require an amp, or would a zune(microsofts version of ipod) power them just fine. Oh, and are they somewhat portable?

Hey, I just got a PM from Alberto, I suspect he's gotten into the "Jacky D" again 'cos he was ramblin' a bit, but he appeared to indicate that the author of the 2000th post here wins his spare pair of Edition 9s!

kool, thanks, but do they still sell the 650, is their any difference in sq, and does the 9 ft. cable ever get in the way?
|
But, seriously, it remains tucked away in my bag. The HFI-650 is currently available only in Europe, but you could e-mail Ultrasone USA and inquire about a special order.

Guys that was another of Dex bad jokes and his darn European sense of humor!!!!

650 is slightly more refined in the treble, but with less bass. The 9 foot cable come in handy when I want to skip rope.
