Hi, I've been lurking on these forums for a couple of months now, and I decided to dive in to improve my setup. I just bought a new unused 30gb iPod photo and immediately had it sent to Vinnie for an iMod. I've had it a little over a week now and it probably has under 50 hours of use total (listening and leaving it on to burn in.)
It sounds amazing on my home system...do any kind of search online about the iMod and you will not find a single negative review. Better soundstage, better base, more clarity...you will notice a significant difference. The reason I'm giving it up is that I thought long and hard about this and I really don't want to go down this road of higher fidelity equipment (the necessary amp, new cans, expensive cords)...I just can't afford it right now.
The iMod is in perfect shape -- Not a single scratch.
This is what you get:
- iMod in original box with manual, cord, power adapter
- iskin (about $15...but I won't charge for this)
- Blue Jeans mini-to-mini cable
I'm asking $360, but I'll entertain the best offer.
Also, if you're worried about anything going wrong, Vinnie at Redwine Audio will guarantee the unit should any problems occur. And his customer service is outstanding. He is extremely responsive and receptive to any concerns you might have.
