THE best earbuds? (PK1 first impressions) - Page 3

has anyone even done a direct comparison to the PK's with the CM7Ti or E888? Otherwise I don't see how the PKs can be crowned as the best earbuds.

I don't think all people here do that, so don't generalize. I said sometimes it seems in certain threads that people purchase just to puchase. And when that takes up more of your time than listening to the music that you love, then it can become an issue. It's a completely valid point. I want my rig to sound as good as I can when I start out, but once I get the triple.fi and an amp, I'm done for a long time. I will thoroughly enjoy my entire music library over and over many times before even considering another purchase. User meets help solve a lot of those financial strains, too. I wonder when the next one will be around here.
What the? You're the one generalizing, don't try to turn this around on me.

Whatever mate, whatever

From what I can tell there are the PK-1 and PK-2 ear buds for people who like great sounding buds and the rest is junk. Yuin's or IEMs, and I dont like IEMs. Full size headphones are not an option for me when I am on the move and if you remove IEMs from the picture then there is clearly only one choice, Yuin PK series. I have never heard of anyone having a problem and the set I gave my dad for x-mas were built extremely well, compare the cord thickness to a pair of shure's. Very well made indeed. I know this doesn't apply to everyone however, some people are just prone to breaking things and coming up with reasons to return stuff. If that describes you then just keep your original ear buds and keep replacing them. People have a tendency (sometimes) to not take care of stuff and then try and return stuff that was abused. Can you tell I worked retail for 14 years?.....LOL Take care of your stuff and you can spend less time talking about "What if you have to return it?" and more time listening to music.
