Looking for vintage model Sony portable cdp

Hi all,

I'm looking for a model of a Sony portable cd player. As a young boy/man i had a sony brochure (somewhere between 1987 and 1991 I guess) which featured among others a portable cd player. It looked like the CDP-7F or the D50, it had the same boxy/square design. But it wasn't a top loader, it was a frontloader!

Here's a link to the 7F model: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ayphotohosting

When the ejectbutton was pressed, the whole inside would come out presenting a tray like loading mechanism similair to a normal stationary cdp.

Does anybody know what European type/model this could have been? I want to buy one for old times sake (couldn't afford it when i was young) but now i've started my journey in finding one.

Please help this wondering Dutchman

I've heard about this discman. (Sony made another newer model, the D-EJ01, which was a front loader and was the 15th Anniversary Model of Discman. But slide out discman players don't do so well... not a good idea)

Some guru here will be able to tell you the exact model of this old 1980's slide out tray discman. A google search might turn up smething too. Good luck!

Thanx. I've been googling my butt off for a few days now. So if there's a vintage guru somewhere out there, then please!
