Westone ES2 cable yellowish???

Hi guys, any owners of ES2, who opted for the clear cable, does your cable turn yellowish after a period of time? I am deciding between clear or the black cable.... hope to hear what owners of ES2 with clear cables have to say

Er... I don't know about yellowish, but mine turned green as the copper oxidized. It took a few months. I can't say that I've noticed any sound changes, but the change was so gradual that even if it did, I would not have paid it much attention. The same thing happened to my old UM2, which still shipped with the clear cables.

I'm not sure if the new cables are actually free from oxidation, or the insulation is simply opaque so that you can no longer see it but in any case, replacement cables are (fairly) cheap.
