Best Crossfeed Plugin For Foobar??

Hi all. Just wanted to ask you guys what you think the best crossfeed plugin is for foobar. I currently use the regular "Crossfeed" one which comes with foobar. I find that it makes very little difference, if any at all. The only other one I have tried is the "Bauer Stereophonic-To-Binaural" which I find changes the sound far too much. Can anyone suggest a good, relatively easy-to-use plugin which has a positive, audible effect without overdoing it?

I need to know this too. I'm not hearing any difference when I turn Crossfeed on. If anyone is using better crossfeed plug-in, please share it.

I use this one and the difference compared to no crossfeed is clear. With some older tracks it's very clear.

I'm not sure that hearing a big difference is a good thing. The idea with a Crossfeed plug-in is that it provides a slight amount of one channel to play in the other for a more natural sound (in reality, your ears are not completely isolated from each other, as they are when you wear headphones). A good crossfeed plug-in would probably NOT have an obvious sonic difference when it is enabled. A crossfeed plug-in that is producing an easily discernible difference (probably some kind of reverb effect) is probably crossfeeding much more than necessary.

Has anybody used Bauer Stereophonic-to-binaural DSP?

Yes...as mentioned in the original post

I find it changes the sound way too much. Sounds completely unnatural IMO, like listening to music in a cave

I sometimes use the crossfeed that comes with foobar. I really like it because it's a noticable affect but doesn't really seem to change the sound, just the way it's presented.

I really couldn't tell a difference at first but now it's a clear difference with it on or off. It depends a lot on the music though.

im not aware of crossfeed plugin for 0.8.3 ... why dont you upgrade your foobar

there is one thing you can do

download winamp dsp bridge for foobar ... through that load a winamp crosfeed plugin , there might be compatibility issues with 0.8.3 , give it a try

Coz iTunes 6 + M-plugin 2.3.2 + Foobar 0.83 is more stable...I use ASIO + Foobar passthrough, and the iTunes7+Foobar 0.9x + M-Plugin 2.4.2 combination doesn't work very well...

I know there is a Crossfeed plug-in for Foobar2000 0.8.3 because I used to use one. Actually, I think the standard Crossfeed plug-in was one of the few that worked in both 0.8.3 and 0.9.x (I remember when I upgraded to the newer version of Foobar2000 that it was one of the only plug-ins that I didn't also have to upgrade). The one at Naive Software should definitely work for you, because it's last version was built in January 2005 (long before Foobar2000 0.9 was released).
