Steve bought a Sony remote from me. Paid quickly, good communication, would deal with him again in a heartbeat.

ironbut purchased an Audio-Technica ATH-AD2000 headphone. This buyer had extremely speedy payment and great communication - and is a nice guy to boot. Couldn't ask for more!

Steve allowed me to borrow quite an extensive, and expensive, collection of 12ax7 tubes. The collection in total was probably around $500. He shipped them to me and only asked for payment for the shipping. On top of that he offered a pair of the tubes, my fav pair, for free since he didnt use them much.
Great Head-fier!
Hope I can help him out some day.

Steve is my hero for the work he did to resurrect my SinglePower SDS-XLR amp. He did a fantastic job, he is utterly and completely trustworthy, and he is extremely fair in terms of price. Moreover, Steve took on this work as a community service for people who are in trouble without other alternatives, and I thank him every time I listen to my amp. Thanks again, Steve!

Steve answered my Head-Fi post and offered to repair my noisy SinglePower ES-1 tube amplifier. He did so quickly (about 2 weeks) for a very reasonable price, and now the amplifier works beautifully. He kept me informed throughout the process (unlike the manufacturer of the amplifier
), and checked the amplifier thoroughly for other potential problems - thankfully there were none.
It was a real pleasure to work with someone as knowledgeable and enthusiastic as Steve, and I would definitely recommend him to friends.
Thanks Steve, and apologies for the late post

Steve is my hero and savior. My Es-1 had been broken for almost a year and I had no idea who could work on my exotic electrostatic amp. I ran into Steve at a Bay Area meet and I was elated when he said he would work on my amp. Throughout the entire process Steve was a stand up guy and reaffirmed my faith in humanity. I am very busy with school, and Steve was willing to drive 30 minutes to pick up the amp from my home. He was in constant communication throughout the entire ordeal, giving me updates about the condition of the amp. Steve made sure that all my concerns were addressed. The fix was very fast, most of the time was simply waiting for the parts that needed to be replaced. During this time Steve went through the entire amp and made sure everything was in top working order. He looked at all the connections and solder points. He even helped me pick out the best matched tubes for each side of the ES-1 and packaged them accordingly. When everything was finished, Steve dropped the amp back off at my home! The amp sounded fantastic as Steve did a wonderful job.
Further rates were extremely reasonable. It would have cost me much more to ship the amp anywhere.
Steve treated my amp as if it were his own. And I would have no problem trusting him with any piece of audio equipment, even my He90.
I cannot praise Steve highly enough. You can tell he loves the Hobby, and is a great asset to the community. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation. I think of Steve every time I turn my ES-1 on.

Bought Steve's ASL MG Head OTL amp.
Pictures in his for sale ad didn't do it justice - it was in absolutely pristine condition and came very well-packaged right on time. Works great, sounds great; overall an absolutely fantastic deal.
Would definitely not hesitate to buy again.
