Hey, I have a NW-E107.
Two motnhs ago I suddnely started hearing "static" in one ear. At first I thought it was the headphones but it wasn't.
I can still hear the songs, its just that theres a "static" over it. It gets less as I turn it louder, BUT, when I turn the volume to zero, the static is still present. WHen I put on the "beep" and change songs, i hear the beep WITHOUT ANY STATIC . Does that mean that its the audio file itself that the player is having trouble giving bass effects or something?
Anyone have this problem? Anyone have a fix?
Sony wants to charge me 50 bucks for a ESTIMATE, and I paid like 80 for this on boxing day so I'm not going to go to a repair service.. I'll try to do it myself if someone knows what the problem could be. I've tried to re-transfer the songs to no avail. "Formatting" It now to make sure nothings corrupt..
Thanks
-Andrew
