Definitely:

and also alessandro MS1 (about 170 pages longer)

I kinda regretted buying SR60 over SR80 but now I really don't care!

I L-O-V-E my SR80's with Flats. But I am very curious for HD595/600/650 and DT770/880/990.

Seeing as its xmas i thought i'd treat my SR-80 to a new leather headband made by fatman711. Here's some pics:

Thanks.

I know how you feel, before i got these i was contemplating getting my 325i woodied or buying a pair of HHF-1's. Then suddenly one sunday morning these popped up out of the blue on the for sale thread. One of those when your not expecting it oportunities. Im sure you'll get sorted sooner than you think.

I want to see if someone sells the bowls alone and if I can install them myself. I really cannot justify spending upward of $300 (ALO Quote) just to mod the headphone!

Really pretty phones...

i am still drooling over them wow, that leather band is fantastic as well!

It looks like a Kontai 69 headband. I have a black leather band over my SR-80s.

I saw those on the ALO web site before they were sold...and I was soooo close to pulling the trigger. I'm really curious how they sound compared to stock.

I wanted SR-80s, but my local store didn't have 'em, so I just pulled the trigger on the MS-1s. I envy you SR-80ers.

I had a choice of brown or distressed brown, i thought the distressed would match the cups better, so went for it in the end.

Yet, to resurrect this thread - I have my SR80 for almost two weeks now. My first phone since i discover this amazing forum. This phone's sounds good for the price, but i hated it when I couldn't keep my thoughts off those higher model Grados...how do they really compare to this entry-level phone?
hey guys im thinking of getting the grado sr-80s!!! i hear they are excellent entry audiophile phones. i am coming from the Sony MDR-V600 and i have only auditioned the SONY MDR-V6 (they sound amazingly excellent for all types of music) and hope that the Grado SR-80's are a step up in performance sound quality from the Sony MDR-V6, what do you all say?

bhphotovideo.com sells them for $95

however TTVJ.com sells them for a grand total of $89.50 if you use their $10 discount for brand new customers!! Great deal. Tax + shipping included.

Thanks in advance,
Brian
