Grado SR80 Impressions thread! - Page 5

Hi, if I understood correctly the Sr-80 unamped will sound like a Sr-60, and (the SR-80) for his low impedance can be amped even with the most cheaps amps...

Is that?

I thinking in a Zune 2.0 and a Sr-80 or Sr-60, any thoughts?

Any thoughts at all, besides MS1?

Just lost my cans virginity to a pair of SR80s

OH MY GAWD

I am a big IEM person, and I really like these, despite the hardcore sound leakage, they are so comfy and sound magnificant!

WOW!

I bought them like this from a fellow headfier, they were modded by ken at ALO audio. Just go to the ALO wesite to see what he has on offer.

I've seen a few people here havin a go themselves with very good results.

But it looks like it takes a lot of patience and decent tools to accomplish, both of which i dont have .

Sounds like the RS-2s/RS-1s are already calling you.

I honestly cant see myself upgrading to the RS2/RS1. I'm very happy with the 325i's at the moment and the modded SR-80 are a nice wee fun can for my portable rig.
