Well congrats Ken, thats a nice setup. I'm overjoyed with my K1K setups. You'll have to add your serials to the K1K registry thread

Well, I misspoke again. I now hear sibilance and distortion with the GS-X. I am trying to find my way through this maze.

+I'm finding the NAD pre and hafler power to be extremely satisfying. It may not have the ultimate anything but it is smooth, warm with great slam and dynamics. As nice as the Firestone Big Joe may be, the big setup slays it in every department, especially warmth and bass. I'm not as anal as many in getting the ultimate from the K1K, but I do want it to sound nice and it certainly does that.

I'm sure the more modern high-end amps would outdo them in many areas but I'm not so sure I'd prefer them, this is pretty much at a sound I really enjoy and find no glaring faults... or glare! Team hi-end budget-fi wins again
