seems buyer beware no longer applies, just get your CC company to bail you out

i have 500 tied up too, but do you really want to expend effort trying to get a fraud case tried in china? i mean seriously, that is bording on insane when you realise the mass of red tape involved with dealing with the chinese justice system (ha?)

if you can get a refund from paypal or your CC company then go for it, but i highly recommend you avoid legal proceedings in another country (for what really is small potatoes compared to a lot of rackets in that country.

I paid by cc through paypal my, Australian cc company says to chase it up with paypal ....paypal says there is nothing they can do since i made payment over two months ago .
Count me in for any possible legal action .

I'm tired of waiting as well. Fortunately I sent CC payment via PayPal and have just submitted an online transaction dispute form via Mastercard. I will receive an official response in 5 business days. Hopefully I will get my money credited and put this all behind me.

I sure do know how to pick my builders, first Shellbrook and now this fiasco. The waiting game with LaRocco wasn't exactly a joy either.

I will also gladly participate in any legal group action against Storm Digital if it help others who are left hanging to get reimbursed.

Heed the warnings signs next time man! On a side note my uncle lost thousands on his first and only ebay transaction.

I don't want to call Ken a crook just yet, as we still don't know where he is. But, I've waited long enough, and I'd rather not find out where he went. I want my money back, or as much as I can get back as possible.

I don't know if this would pertain to me or not? Now that Ken seems to have disappeared it looks like I'm back to square one as well because if he doesn't show up relatively soon I'll have to repay Rincewind the money he fronted for Ken as the resolution to my situation.

I haven't really followed whats going on at head-fi + Storm Digital.

Anyway, I paid with Western Union really early for a D02 because at the time he couldn't accept credit card payment

Ok, what is it going to take to contact authorities in Hong Kong? I'm not sure how to go about doing that, or if there's a place where we can file a formal complaint.

crimeinformation@police.gov.hk (General Crime and Cyber Crime)

The above e-mail address is for online cyber crime reporting. Flood them with reports and see what happens.
