Is Qables the only place offering one for the vision M? Does someone own one and can provide feedback. Thanks.

I bought these puppies just before Christmas and they have been a revelation. I can't tell you how much they suit my listening tastes. I love close listening with lots of treble and tight...

It's very small player, so I like it. I have Clip+ since Christmas and I'm very satisfied!

First of all let me say this is one of my favourite BA driver earphones I have ever heard. That said, being a basshead, these didn't deliver in the bass department - I can't deny the fact...

I've had this card for quite a while now, and I have to say its a really nice card - a huge step-up to my on-board motherboard's audio. At first I do have to admit, it didn't feel like the D1...

Long story short: These earbuds, shouldn't ever be bought, when they come free in your iPod package, its fine to look at them, and try them on. If you know someone wanting to buy these,...

Would love to know if there is competition.
As to the performance I can tell you that it is exactly the same cable as the iPod ones I offer, menaning that the wire and construction details are all alike.
It only fits the dock connector of the Vision, or Vision M which has a different output pinning then the iPod.
So from my perspective all that is said about my iPod cables is valid for this one as well.
And otherwise, just order one and try. If you do not like it send it back and I'll refund.
Rgds Hans.

As soon as you can offer a low profile, rignt angle connector to go into the Zen Vision: m, I'll throw the cash down.

That's no problem, Neutrik, right angle black gold tip!
A right angle low profile dock bottom connector? Sorry that I do not supply and probably will not supply that in future as well.

Most of this height (2cm) is needed for the locking / unlocking mechanism.
The remaining could be reduced just use a stanley knife and fill the rest with glue. The looks will not be professional however.
Without locking mechanism you could reduce to about 1-1.5cm.
If you whish I could try build you one for fun? Where must the wire exit? Front, rear right left?
Please indicate direction when the ipod is laying on a tabel face up and bottom towards you.

I'd like it to exit towards the back, but don't go crazy.

it is a bit too soon to really know for sure. Qable recommends to "burn" the cable for at least 40-100 hours.
Currently, I only have a couple of hours with it but I can tell you that there is no distortion, the sound is extremely smooth. The build quality is great and the fact that I don't have to carry (and perhaps loose it) my dongle is a major plus for me.
You can find all kind of hardconnect for the ipod but none for the zen except for Qable offering.

so the cable that u bought is exactly the same as the one on the site except the connector amp end is 90 deg?
i'm sorta just afraid of sound losing definition when going through the default dongle

no, that was jbloudg20 who wanted this. I just bought the one featured on the web site. Works great for me since I do most of my listening at work.
And yes, I would think that a dedicated connector what had less distortion than the default dongle that is multi purpose on the zen.
