Kevin Gilmore has never sold anything that he has built or designed, at least not in my lifetime.

I posted an update on the Aristaeus recently. At this time I am just waiting to receive the final enclosure components, and I may be getting some of them next week.

Justin:

Can you please identify what are the unique aspects of the Aristaeus amplifier. How would you describe this product and what features set it apart from other electrostatic amps.

No one seems able to answer these questions, but as the builder you can shed some light on the topic.

Sorry to persevere, but my original question remains unanswered.

Thank-you.

What it has been like over a year since some people paid. *ouch*

So people like digitalbill, gpalmer, ayt999 have been waiting over a year? Has digitalbill even heard his he90's?

The problem with dealing with someone like Justin that takes pride in his work is... he won't deliver a half finished amp no matter how hard you beg My KGSS is taking longer than expected but I know when it arrives I won't have to worry about the quality of the work.
IIRC it's not EXACTLY an HEV90 remake (at least I hope it's not, I would expect an Upgrade!). Anyway, I believe it is loosly based on the HEV90 design, but that's it.

Sent payment August 23rd. My post was more about the pride Justin takes in his creations, not about how I wish I had the amp in my hands.

HeadAmp makes quality products. I've dealt with Justin enough times to know he won't ship anything he's not happy with even if it means delaying a launch.

It would better answer the question if you told us - August 23, 2006 or August 23, 2005?

Hehe I think if it was 2005 I'd be less likely to praise Justin for his quality work

From what KG has posted, is it safe to assume the Aristaeus is now the amp for the Omega II, eclipsing even the Blue Hawaii?
