I use 2000mAh rechargeable batteries in mine, which last 4-5 hours.
Alcaline batteries last a bit longer

I'm using 2500mAh Ni-MH, they seem to last about
the same as alkalines. 5 - 6 hours I would guess.

The Karma and amp are glued together with goop.
(yes I can get them apart if needed)
One solid package and the interconnect doesn't get in the way.

and yes, you do need to get rid of those earbuds and at least upgrade to the ksc-75 or px-100 or sr60. seriously.
well, I picked up a alo bling dock and a set of audio technica a900s (for home obviously). The ibuds will work for now for the portable rig. If I ever get the balls to shell out the cash it'd be nice to get a set of UE and a new amp like a Emmeline SR-71 for the portable setup. My cmoy works good but the 1/8 jacks are a little too close to the volume knob to allow a giant dock connector like the canare one on a alo cotton. Plus I'll probably opt for the cryo dock once I test out the bling for an upgrade. I prefer closed cans so that's why I went with the a900s, plus they have good response compared to other simliarly priced units from grado and akg.

Thats very, very cool, but its the kind of thing I would buy, play with for a few weeks, realize I dont really need, and sell at a $500 loss. I bet that thing rocks all over a pocket pc though.

Sounds great too.

Media Monkey and Media player classic are my faves to play stuff, using ASIO4ALL.

Sony VAIO UX90SSD, Ety er4S and Koss 75's
