There is a flag, except when you're looking at it.

There isn't a flag, Grasshopper, except when you're not looking at it.

Now tell us: What is moving?

No the flag is an inanimate object which is being moved by the wind.

HD650 driven by an E10 and HD650 driven by a Sigma22/Dynalo and fed by E10. Two completely different experiences.

which one do you like more?

The Dynalo, of course! It has all that was good with E10 plus treble, wider soundstage, more precise imaging and better control over bass. Luckily I was able to iron out the output DC on the Dynalo under 0.3mV (without servo) so even lower impedance headphones will be safe.

Now I'm looking to get a Pico DAC or the Dacport LX as a source.

I just received my Fostex HP-P1 from Amazon. I have it connected to an iPod Classic 7G filled with AIFF lossless files. it is driving my HD650's beautifully. Plenty of power. I would not want to listen at full volume. For me, comfortable seems to be between 12 and 1 on the dial. Nice portable option for the 650's. I will generally be taking the HD25-1 ii's when I am out and about but if I have an extended stay somewhere I'll take the 650's along and enjoy the HP-P1....
