Sennheiser HD650 Impressions Thread - Page 838

I've had my 650s for a few years now. Recently I picked up some HD800s. IMO the 650s are a bargain at $1000 less the 800s.

To be honest...i love the looks of your amp much more than current pioneer models which i think yours is definitely worth a keeper considering the sound is very good too wink.gif

The Pioneer is beautiful. I just acquired the sx-650 and am in love with the sound I'm getting from it. Long live the vintage gear!!

Nice to see the Pioneer still in use.  I had the sa 9500 and tx 8100 and the matching cassette player.  Lasted me a very long time then my sister had them, got them back a couple of years ago but needed to much money for repairs.  She was a very heavy smoker and it got to them over the years.  They were and are still one of the best looking combos I have seen.  Good luck with them.

Do you mean the protective metal screen on the outside of the cups? That would be Sennheiser parts and accessories dept if so.

While we're talking about parts. Where is the best/least expensive place to get replacement pads. I'll sleep better knowing that I've got a spare set in my desk drawer.
