lol, I shouldn't be allowed in this thread until I have $1k ready to spend on cans and amps. What do you guys use as a source? I'm guessing it isn't an iPod lol

^^ Looks nice!! I pulled the trigger on that but after several delays decided to pull out and buy a nice Woo Audio stand for the same money. We have a similar setup...lyr/bf/audioengine speakers/hd650. biggrin.gif

Wooo I almost forgot about those until I received an email a few days ago that they were finally shipped out. Hopefully we all get ours soon.

They sound great out of a Rx MK3-B!

Currently driving them with a loaned Pan Am. I have a newfound appreciation for both the amp and the HD 650.

Do you have more impressions about the Pan Am? I"ve been waiting to hear from someone who has both the Pan Am and HD650.

I received mine yesterday, worth the wait. The Zebra finish was a good call, IMO.

Very warm and laid back, thanks to the tubes. Great separation and detail, and the sound is very lush and full. Makes for great PC gaming.

Thanks for the recommendation by the way, finally got to give my Neco a try yesterday. Obviously I need to do more listening, but I'm quite liking the little amp so far. Being bit of a bass head I expected I'd want to use bass boost constantly, but so far I've actually preferred to leave it off. Funnily enough the switch works 'backwards' from what it says on Neco's site, but this is of little consequence.

(MattTCG also deserves thanks for his Neco-related and other posts I've found quite helpful/enjoyable).
