I have bought and sold two different HD650's and I might someday buy a third. Every time I hear a pair I love the sound (moreso than the GS1000, RS-1, or K701). The only cans I've heard that I really like better were the W5000 w/ HA5000 and the Stax O2. They really shine with the right tube amp.

I bought the grado's 325i and after a week and a half I took them back. Lots of ear pain. I got the Sennheiser 650's and am in heaven. I added a Little dot 2 + headphone amp and I really am in heaven.

wow just got em

I just got my 650's today. I LOVE THEM. and thats with the stock cable and an el crapo amp integrated into my surround speakers.

just absolutely love em'

Impressive aren't they? I auditioned the 580, 600, and 650. The 650 was the stand out leader. I also returned the Grado 325i I had because of bad ear pain. Yuppers no contest and with a headphone amp like the LD2+ when the wife shouts "will you turn that down?" I can put the 650s on and be in heaven.

I never auditioned any other Senn can...I went to the top --figured I couldn't go wrong after spending hours reading here.

I almost bought the MS2i. I think it's good that I didn't, it might have been an expensive bad move because of the small soundstage that I read about seems like a contrast to what I like with full size cans.

Got mine 3 weeks ago and like them a lot. I sold my HD580 and chose to keep the 650.
Now what I am wondering is , do I need the black dragon v2 on those (the cable is on them right now), or would I better spend that money for something else in my sound chain.
But regardless, it is a keeper !
Something that makes me angry ;-) is to have to pick the 600 smiley !

hello everybody,

I've compared both HD600 and my DT880.
for me the HD600 is better than the beyer but I can support HD600 bass...
how are these whit the 650?
please, tell me the 650 is better that the 600 in mid-bass(more details, more clean, more dynamic, less present)

for my beyer, I bought a silver dragon(not yet receved) but I think that will be a big mistake because, the beyer will be too clear...

I wish to buy a senn and recable this one with the silver dragon but where to buy senn connectors??
