I think you lucked out ;-)

Now that item is earlier in the list at $475, but I think that's not right. I don't think everybody can go out and get that price whenever they want. You got a bargain, but can people do that everyday?

what i mean by "dacs you can't buy" is that there are some dacs that were never released or are future releases.

Sticky this sucker!

Great work. I've done a small amount of work researching DACs...this has made it easier to be more unsure

At this point the Great March modded by Pacific Valve is looking like top spot for me.

gaku-on is a company that makes all kinds of audio gear, including a legendary dac that's way over priced.

I must have gotten mistaken with audionote's gaku-on amp

Anyone have any suggestions for where to buy a Wavelength Brick online. Preferably a place with a return policy (I haven't actually heard a brick).

I didn't see the Derek Shek DAC on your list. It's a CS8412/TDA1543 NOS.

The Entech Number Cruncher 203.2 can be purchased from the EBay seller outletmp3. He has an EBay store called Digital Outlet. Buy It Now price of $44.95, and $14.99 shipping. The seller lists the unit as being brand new in the box. The seller also occasionaly lists auctions for the 203.2 with a starting bid of $0.99, and $14.99 shipping.

The Entech Number Cruncher 203.2 can also be purchased on Amazon.com from the seller outletdigital for $49.99. I purchased my Number Cruncher through Amazon.com and paid $6.49 for ground shipping. It was brand new in the box.

I believe outletmp3 and outletdigital are the same guy. I had a problem with my first unit, and outletdigital let me RMA. I should be receiving my new unit today. This is the physical address I have for outletdigital. I also have a contact number if anyone needs it.

I've seen a few used Entech Number Cruncher 205.2s for sale on EBay.

c0mfortably_numb posted a scan from the manual showing information for the 203.2 and 205.2.
