Can the Cary CD 303-200 be used as a DAC for a pc too?

I was doing some research on players in the $600-800 used range and there are certainly some very nice candidates. However, I really want something like a Cary or a Wadia, but I can't justify it because a good deal of my music is on my computer. However, I noticed that the Cary CD 303-200 has digital iputs; is it therefore possibly to go from my M-audio Audiophils USB into the Cary via SPDIF and then into my Melos via analog RCA, gaining the benefits of the Cary D/A section? If so this will be my next source....

Thanks.

Yes. Congratulations. Looks like a masterful system of tube RS-1 goodness.

I have a 303/200 and it works great as a DAC.
I use mine to improve the crappy sound from my DVD player. Putting the digital out from the DVD into the Cary and using the upsampling improves the sound 100% over the DVD's analog outputs.
