I've got the EQ on this set-up to use with ety er6 IEMs - prefer the sound with the bass boosted. However, this sounds horrible when I plug it into my (slightly bass heavy) hifi. Sounds OK without EQ, horrible with. Any ideas of how to bypass the EQ - can you get a non-EQd line out from these?

The player does have an spdif out, so a DAC might be an option. Would this bypass the EQ? And how would I work this (my player came without the appropriate cable). Here's the clear description of how to use digi out from the manual:

"The SPDIF digital audio is a wire based protocol, it is not optical. To record or play via the SPDIF digital audio connection, you will use
the cable delivered with the Jukebox which has RCA type connectors (red, white, and yellow). Thus, you should locate SPDIF RCA
female type jacks on the back of your Hifi system. Place the mini-jack end of the cable in the Jukebox’s LINE-IN jack. The yellow RCA
connector works as both the IN and the OUT. You will have to swap this from the SPDIF IN and OUT on your hi-fi stereo system as
needed."

So yeah, any suggestions would be great...
