The Way of Kings!?! I love it!!! Very nice climax battle, it was awesome!

I usually could stand slow building books (cough* The Wheel of Time Series *cough), but I just can't stand the way Mr. Noris and Mr Pharell (or whatever the book named, too lazy to check) written. Maybe because the setting? The-so-called-gentlemen on the book is getting on my nerves!

It was titled The Knight of Radiance or something right?

Its one of my favorites.. ohh I love Murakami... You should try this. Read the book, Norwegian Wood, Get Drunk or Stoned and listen to Norwegian Wood by  Beetles and then watch the movie Norwegian Wood. You will freak out, when you reach this scene in the movie:

That's funny i have also read the whole wheel of time series and yea it does slow down an awful lot but i liked the way Sanderson brought it back to life. How far did you get in Jonathan Strange and Mr Norell?

I could have done with another 200 pages of epilogue for WoT....That was a quick wrap up for a 4MM word series.

Yup, sometimes I just want to scream by they way WOT scrawling along, but then knowledge about how late Jordan and Brandon Sanderson usually packed the most interesting climaxes make me crawl through. I got maybe 4 or 5 chapters before falling asleep... I dunno, but it just wasn't interesting enough for me.

I got the feeling too. The wrap up is a bit too... short. Need 2 or 3 more chapters. Or maybe that because I just want more Rand, Perrin, Mat, Ninaeve, Egweene, Aviendha, Min, and Elaine :D

*hit forehead with palm* Yes, that's the title! I knew it was something with Radiance on it... :D

+1 I like how creative he with magic systems. Each series has a different approach.

That series is awesome. Have you try Alloy of Law? I personally love them, the blending of magic and gunslinger is awesome!

Yeah, his magic system is creative. Have you ever think of using chalk doddle as magic system?! He turned something as benign as chalk doddle into magic and monsters. Brandon Sanderson got one creative brain.

The thing is, the more I read his books, the more I found his characters pretty much similar. Standard ordinary-person-turned-hero kind of characters.
