Sounds like an excellent choice.

Very dense, but excellent.

Severl years ago I read "The Grand Inquisitor" chapter.

Outstanding.

And now, my "book of the month!"

The Guns Of August.

Fifty shades of grey. Not sure why, but hey, I got free time.

I got thrown out of my local Chapters store for putting all the "Caution Wet Floor" signs around their display of 50 Shades of Grey... biggrin.gif

Just painfully finished...

What a long dragged out sit.

Mind you the reader was excellent, the story was just long dragged out and boring.

There is a new Odd Thomas out, I'll have to check the reviews on that one.

The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami

Pretty interesting themes on identity, loneliness, and existence. The prose is not so great, but it's translated so I guess that's not a surprise. I'm about 2/3 through.

Previously read Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov: Strongly recommended!

If anybody wants a good Stephen King-like read for their Kindle (actually less for the hard copy), I can heartily recommend The Caretaker of Lorne Field. One of those rare books where if you're not reading it you're thinking about it. At least I was.

This may seem strange to a lot of people, but I am actually currently reading Uncle John's Bathroom Reader. LOL ... it is full of useless/usefull information and always teaches me something new and is a great conversation starter piece.
