Fahrenheit 451- Ray Bradbury

Catch-22 -Joseph Heller

Slaughterhouse-Five -Kurt Vonnegut

These are some of my favourites that I've read recently from that time period. They're not necessarily literature, but they should count and are all fun to read as well.

Excellent recommendations. All three are important books, though Catch 22 is the best of the bunch in my opinion.

Currently reading 400

I'm an avid Basketball fan. I can rarely make it through a fictional book. Non-ficiton is just what I like.

Despite the humour used in it, I found it the most difficult to finish of the three. For whatever reason I had a hard time getting through it. confused_face_2.gif So maybe for a class it might not be a good choice.

I just realized I forgot my favourite author of all time! Hemingway! Some of his later books fall into that category. Check out For Whom the Bell Tolls or The Old Man and the Sea.

Well I just finished it...

Excellent Read! (or listen in my case.)

I seriously can't imagine having to go through that...

I was pondering renting the movie, but after finishing the book I just don't know.
