Question about single/dual headphone cords.

What's difference between the two? I mean, there has to be a difference...right? because I'm thinking if there wasn't why don't all headphones use just one cable?

Are you referring to [single ended or balanced] or [single entry or dual entry]?

I think it would be dual entry (HD650) and single entry (HD595). Just curious why some 'phones use 2 cables and some use 1.

With a single-entry headphone you have to be able to run another wire through the headband to the other side.
