Post Pictures of your car - Page 3

The only "car" I have pictures of that are ready to be posted is my pickup. I have owned this thing since 1980. It still amazes me that this was at one time my only transportation. I took it on vacation trips and stuff with gas mileage a solid 10MPG. It was recently involved in a collision so now the front bumper is bent in the middle.

It's a 1977 Dodge W100, 440 CI, automatic and full time 4 wheel drive.

I just came home with it from the dealer, bought it yesterday. Happy as hell, no more public transport.
My first car. No headphones for me any time soon.

Nice. SEC is my favourite car from the 1980's bar none I can think of. I used to work for Mercedes and it was one of my favourite mercs full stop.

Also loving your Jetta/Vento there VR6, I nearly bought a Vento a couple of years ago and have always liked them.

I drive a pretty standard 96 Ford Laser with around 95,000 miles on the clock (converting from aussie km). The 1.8 twincam isn't what I would call fast, but it is quick enough to make overtaking easy rather than a chore. But I'm more of an old car guy myself, I'd love either an RX-3 or an old Ford Falcon as a weekend car. Saw a beautiful pair of XM/XP Falcon Coupes today and a lovely 50's Bel Air. One day...

they call it the SS Ute. ive done some engine work to it and lowered it a bit, they sit up real high normally.

www.ls1.com.au is a great site, tons and tons of pictures, look in the mulitmedia forum for the ute gallery, sedan gallery, wagon gallery, coupe gallery etc.

got no more pics at the moment, anyway its way too dirty to be photographed

edit: etherealapril: its the 5.7L, i got it almost two years ago now. making 267rwkw/690nm now though (about 350hp)
I was in Australia earlier this summer and I must say, utes are pretty cool cars. Holdens in general are pretty cool.

Heh, I knew it was one of the big Audis as soon as I saw the pic of the dash. Made me pine for my first car, an '87 Audi 5000CS. Until it fell apart on me at about 160k miles, it was my pride and joy. I swear, one of these days I'm going to go in search of another one and restore it as penance for not being able to take care of the car as I should have back then.

Just got this today...it was a spur of the moment since I got tired of driving a 91 Accord with no AC, and they made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Of course, this means no more audio stuff for a long time

Wow cool I'll be taking some more, once I find another place. I took that in front of my office building, and apparently you aren't allowed to take pictures since I got yelled at.

The '02 WJ Overland - Daily Driver & Tow Rig
4.7HO, Quadradrive, 2" lift

The '62 CJ-5 Universal - The Toy
F-134 Hurricane 4 cyl!!!

I just towed the CJ to my parents' place for the tear-down this week. It's solid with a great frame and body, but is a bit of a basket case otherwise. I need to replace the brakes, rebuild the transmission, replace the wiring harness and repaint it, along with lots of other little details. It's going to be a looooooooooooooong winter!!!

Oh yeah, nice car Zach!!!
