The only "car" I have pictures of that are ready to be posted is my pickup. I have owned this thing since 1980. It still amazes me that this was at one time my only transportation. I took it on vacation trips and stuff with gas mileage a solid 10MPG. It was recently involved in a collision so now the front bumper is bent in the middle.

It's a 1977 Dodge W100, 440 CI, automatic and full time 4 wheel drive.

I just came home with it from the dealer, bought it yesterday. Happy as hell, no more public transport.
My first car. No headphones for me any time soon.

Also loving your Jetta/Vento there VR6, I nearly bought a Vento a couple of years ago and have always liked them.

edit: etherealapril: its the 5.7L, i got it almost two years ago now. making 267rwkw/690nm now though (about 350hp)
I was in Australia earlier this summer and I must say, utes are pretty cool cars. Holdens in general are pretty cool.

Heh, I knew it was one of the big Audis as soon as I saw the pic of the dash. Made me pine for my first car, an '87 Audi 5000CS. Until it fell apart on me at about 160k miles, it was my pride and joy. I swear, one of these days I'm going to go in search of another one and restore it as penance for not being able to take care of the car as I should have back then.

Just got this today...it was a spur of the moment since I got tired of driving a 91 Accord with no AC, and they made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Of course, this means no more audio stuff for a long time

pretty much that except red and a little worse for wear heh, currently pushing 225000 km's on the original rotary so much for unreliable (knocks on wood)

I just towed the CJ to my parents' place for the tear-down this week. It's solid with a great frame and body, but is a bit of a basket case otherwise. I need to replace the brakes, rebuild the transmission, replace the wiring harness and repaint it, along with lots of other little details. It's going to be a looooooooooooooong winter!!!

Oh yeah, nice car Zach!!!

My jaguar was in the shop for repairs 37 times in 41 months.
I could not take it anymore.

So i got some american iron.
