I just found out that whenever I plug in the charger to my iRiver h140, my sound system picks up slight clicks. Now that all the appliances of my office are connected through a same surge protector of a same wall jack. I wonder if a power conditioner will reduce or eliminate this issue? If so, what is a good entry level one that doesn't cost more than a hundred dollars?

It's very small player, so I like it. I have Clip+ since Christmas and I'm very satisfied!

Keep your eyes posted on Audiogone and Ebay. I found a swingin' deal on a very well respected TiceAudio MBIII on Ebay cheap. This is the kind of thing you really want to buy used, and let someone else take the hit.

Try plugging it into its own outlet first. You can pick up noise through outlet strips with other gear plugged in. The price of this is pretty good, too. Try it.
