any hdd that you can put in the h340 you can put in h320 but you have to cut away or competely remove some of the foam in the h320. The h320 is the same thickness as the h140, and mistic jeff still has h140. why don't you talk to him to see if you can get a discount rate with a group buy.

Man, to think that the next gen Ipod might have 120-GB storage.

That's just too tempting!

Seagate is in charge of producing the hard drive. I wonder if it will fit into an iriver... THAT would be perfect for me.

the new Archos 504 is going to have a 160gb model. But alas no FLAC support even after repeated requests from tons of customers. And Rockbox for the later archos devices is practically non-existant hence the reason I sold my AV500 100gb model.

How the hell do they have a 160gb model? Is that two 2.5" 80gb drives or two 1.8" drives? Do we have a 160gb 2.5" now?

Im liking the possibility of an 80gb HDD in my h320, although I have to say it is excessive.

I know one place in the US that sells them for around $315 and if ypou know anyboy in Korea I checked the Iriver Korea website and can order them from there for the equivilant of around US$220 last time I checked. I also recently saw an Iriver H340 International with cradle, USBOTG, case, remote, and some other extras for right at $400 shipped form the US if I remember right. Plus the constant slow and steady stream of them that are on ebay that people are obviously getting from Korea and selling here for anywhere from $315 to$375

Edited to mention that all prices are for new players in unopened original packaging if I didn't make that clear.
I shouldn't have made a two-word post. Sorry. What I should have written is that it is too late to acquire a new, in-box H140 at a reasonable value. I bought one from a large eBay seller a few months ago for $160, new in box. It's a nice unit, but twice that price is insanity. I also have an H120 and, while it can't match my H140 for storage space, it's good enough, and I recently bought it new in box for just $115. That's value.

haha got here by mistake.

nice thread!!

and joined the site just to say this:

i got my iriver h320 in 2006. i remember my friends running with stupid smiles because of that circled touch button on the ipod.

after been with it in so many travels. including in india in Ladak crossing high magnetic fields mountains. me and a friend cross those mountains in 2008 his ipod was completely wiped out. the iriver was just fine!

after recording guitar with it with the clean line input, recording nature, taking and giving music to/from simple mp3 players with the usb to usb convector given by the iriver.

i can easily say that this thing is one of my favorite personal items i ever had.

and the best this is its that now the year is 2014 and its still fu***ng rocks!!!

cheers.
