Is this FAKE?!?!?

Hey guys,

I've just received my Sennheiser CX300 . I am currently using the headset which comes in box with nokia N91. The only doubt i have on the CX300 is the silver body...It has a cheap silver paint which comes off easily. the sound quality I'd prefer is better of Nokia's, CX300 the one which i have has much more bass and is the treble is a bit dull. however on ebay the seller says its 100% orignal OEM version..

This is why you should buy from trusted, sellers... preferably from head-fi sponsors.

Um, Sennheiser did make a silver CX300; I had a pair and sold them to someone on Head-fi.

Send them in to Sennheiser for the paint. They'll let you know if they were fakes.

looks like the camera you bought was fake cause my friend..that is a horrible picture

K i dont care about the Paint... I just need to know the sound quality.. is yours similar to mine? a lot of BASS and a bit less of treble?

Agreed... If you're gonna post a huge ass picture, why not make it a clear one. (hint: use macro mode (flower symbol))

Perhaps if you post a few more pictures (clear ones), it would definitely help out.

It's difficult to say since the picture is as blurred as the pictures I have seen of 'nessy, bigfoot and most UFOs.

If they sound as good as you expected and you got a cheap price, what difference does it make whether they are "fakes"? I won't even get into the gazillion threads where we've argued this out ad infinitum.

YES. There are those who deny the existence of the fakes and ridicule those who claim to have heard them in person. But the believers know that they're out there, somewhere, and that someday we'll have real evidence. Someday.
