Im getting ready to order some a900's and both amazon and audio cubes have them in stock but audio cubes has it listed as

" Audio-Technica ATH-A900 Art Headphones "

Where amazon has it as
"Audio-Technica ATH-A900 Headphones"
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...952937?ie=UTF8

Are they the same headphones and audio cubes just added "art" onto the title?

Yes, they both are one in the same. Audio Technica calls their ATH-Axxx series cans Art Monitor.

I'd recommend buying from AudioCubes since they're a Head-Fi sponsor. Although if you prefer Amazon, use that Head-Fi/Amazon link at the top so Head-Fi gets a penny.

It is just the one A900 model in both cases. The headphones actually do say "ATH-A900 ART MONITOR" (the word ART being much larger than the rest) on the cups and the box.
