FS: Music Hall cd-25 with Level 3 Mods

Just purchased a new source (Meridian GO7) so this one needs a new home! I am the original owner, and received this player from Sound Odyssey in January of 2005. This has been an excellent CD player. HDCD sounds wonderful. The CD-25 was orignally modified by Sound Odyssey with the Level 3 Modifications. I recently (this year) sent the player to Matt Anker at SACDMODS.com to have the ZAP Filter re-wired to be off when the player was not in use. The Zap was originally wired to be on even if the player was not. I knew this when I purchased the player, and always unplugged it when not in use. The player has been well taken care of in a smoke-free home. I would conservatively rate it an 8 out of 10 on the Audiogon scale. There is a light scratch, Woo Audio 3 feet marks (light), and a mark on the back edge of the top cover. There is also a very small mark on the faceplate. I have pictures below that show each of these. Not bad at all, but worth mentioning.

The Level 3 Mods inlcude:
1. Trichord Research Clock 4 - Virtually eliminates jitter providing absolute timing down the digital chain.
2. Zap Filter 2 - High-end analog stage. Takes over all functions from the DAC chip directly to the output plugs, no op-amps. The analog signal processing is truly state of the art with a non-feedback Single End Class-A operation powered with a dedicated power supply for optimal isolation and sonic clarity.
3. Cardas RCA Jacks
4. Audio Consulting high purity silver wiring for the Zap Filter/DAC/RCA's.
5. Hyper Fast-Soft recovery "Stealth" diodes in the power supply.
6. Upgraded caps in the power supply and digital stage.
7. Vibration damping (Sorbothane) to the underside of the cover and around the transport.

A link to the all important PICTURES. I've got more if you need them!

Pictures include:
1. ZAP Filter
2. ZAP Filter Power Supply
3. Trichord Research Clock 4
4. Face of player - Notice the small mark under the word Disc
5. Top cover - Notice the foot mark of the woo and light scratch in direct sunlight
6. Miscellaneous Pictures

Price is $600.00 plus shipping in the US. Would also consider a mint UPC-200 + CASH. I prefer money order or cashiers check, but will also take Paypal. I have all original packaging, remote, power cord, manual, etc. CD player will be shipped double boxed via UPS with tracking.

I have excellent Head-Fi feedback located here.

Thanks for looking!!!

Jeff

PS: I just received the Meridian yesterday so I have not had enough to compare the two yet.
