Hello there,
It's been a long time~!
I have a D-777 Discman for sale. Bought in 1996 in Hong Kong. It's been well looked after, I'm the original owner and it's served me well over the years. I'm wanting to sell it because it hasn't been used lately and I'm thinking to finally get onto the MP3/digital music wagon and get an iPod for my music collection.
Cosmetically it's very clean - I generally like to take good care of gadgets. There is a scratch on the near the underside of the player and 3 nicks on the left-hand side of the top face (see photos) so about 8.5/10 cosmetically. The player works very well, but as would be expected of a 1996, not so much of a "portable" device and probably better used as an office/study desk source as I have been.
Comes with the following goodies:
- original Sony discman pouch
- remote and micro-plug adapter for 1/8" jacks
- 2 Sony rechargable NH-9WM(s) chewing gum batteries
Power cord comes courtesy of a svelt 4.5V AC power adaptor bought in Japan 2 years ago (it's much, much better than the heavy boxy original one).
No headphones/ear buds included. I've been listening to this discman since I joined Head-Fi with either Grado SR60 or Sony V6's (both very good).
A little sorry to see this one go, but I can't be luddite about my music gear anymore!
This sale I would prefer to remain in Australia, but depending on level of interest I might think about selling it internationally.
So, if you do have any interest please reply here or PM me!

Also check my other things up for sale!
Sennheiser HD-580 (currently on hold)
Meier Audio - Corda HA-1 MK1
Cheers!
Pat.
