Here's a nifty comparison of the (discontinued?) 3030 and 4040 systems - sorry if this is repeated in one of the thirty or so pages I've not read in this thread yet. Hmm...not too bad. I think I overall made the best decision of just going with the SRM-313 though.

About what I expected it to go for.
$600-650 for the T1S, and $300 for the Lambda Signature.

I would like to hear the Lambda Signature some day. Expect it to be pretty close to the Lambda Pro and SR-404.

No, its really not that bad at all. At least it went to a Head-Fier.

No, not yet!
The SRD-7 Pro was shipped from The Netherlands ten days ago, so I expect it to arrive any day now. The MKII have been on the road since monday this week.

You guys will be the first ones to know when the goods arrive!


Edit: I received my Gamma cable today, which was shipped from Singapore on Tuesday.
It will hopefully be a noticeable improvement over the standard SR-X cable.

I finally managed to snag a new set of Gamma earpads and will be getting the Gamma cable soon so I can continue with my dastardly plans.

Nice to see where all feeding our STAX addiction.

Eventually. But it has been covered a bit here already. I will certainly post my impressions. And compare the SRM-T1S with the KGSS I'm building.

February is my birthday month and I've taken a week off of work to relax and build and enjoy life....it's gonna be a good month.

I bought two nearly unused sets from Norway in August and paid some 5000 NOKR for them.

Two nearly unused Lambda Signature's don't show up very often, and the price was not that bad either.

Sadly I had no interest in vintage Stax' back then, so I passed on it.

you guys are really driving the market! i spotted two units that have been on ebay before (last year) and in that short amount of time they already doubled in price for what they went for! i wouldn't even be able to afford STAX now if i wanted to dabble into it, yikes! what's worse is that there's definitely limited amounts, and i think the market has seen just about what it's going to see, and it's all resales of discovered units from here on out - other than the rare one-off from an ignorant seller (like that grado HP1000 for 150, oi).
