The point of the dust cover is so you can keep it charging when not in use, without it sucking in dust. |
| However, the design with this Stax Earspeaker Protection Cover you need to have another one call HPS-2 Natural Wood Earspeaker Stand together to enhance from dust and other foreign material when not being use. They all support Pro and Classic The STAX Ear type. |

| Oh, and I remember reading that if you want to burn them in you should either do so while wearing them or in between books due to how the earspeakers work with the air in between the electrostats and your ear? |

Electrostatics don't gain that much from burn in in my experience, the big issue is charging the diaphram. Just listen to them. |

| Also, I imagine that it is safe for the earspeakers to be running when not on your head (I often take my headphones off for quick breaks here and there of if I just want my headphones to play off my head so I can listen passively/cassually)? |

Sorry for all the questions, but this is my first time dealing with electrostats and I don't want to mess anything up as this technology is still very new to me. |
