Just got an email from Kohn at Audio Cubes seems they have just sold out of the A100Ti. If they can get more customers will be alerted through their newsletter.

HI: WOW guys this is bad news. Are the 2000 units sold or can you get them from somewhere else. I am so sorry for those of you who were told that they are sold out. I did say that once these are gone thats it. Well if anyone who got them don't like them they sure wont have any problem selling them. Sorry guys.
PS
As far as a hot item these things are boiling hot.

When were the A100ti released? I just wonder how fast these things actually go...

Anyone know when the W2002 were released? those seemed to go pretty fast too...

Seems like most AT limited edition cans are gone within a year or so of their release... is this a valid statement?

That's the impression I got as well which probably isn't far off base when your talking 2000 units only.

yeah pretty much. this could probably expected when the A1000 releases also..

HI: The AT 1000 wont be a AT limited edition so there might be lots of them.
I had heard in a thread somewhere that the A1000 was going to be limited to 3000 units -- but I don't know if this was ever substantiated. i'm actually more concerned about the w1000, because that's what i'm more interested in currently... but so far there are no inklings of the w1000 being limited (joy...?) then again, owning a limited edition somehow makes it seem more special (when in fact there are 2999 other people in the world who have the same exact thing as you).

yes, they are in fact limited. in the official AT page for the A1000 , you can translate it and it says in parentheses (near the top of the page) that its limited to 3000 units. so far, it seems that the W1000 will not be a limited edition model. hooray.

Here's a quote from Kohn of Audio Cubes in an email he sent me:

My suggestion is to wait for the new (and hopefully better) A1000, which is also a limited edition with only 3000 units produced.
It would seem the line is already forming for the release date of this new model!! I am torn between waiting for this new one and getting the Sony CD3K. Although the decision was made much easier when Audio Cubes ran out of the ATH-A100Tis

Lord Bless,
