I own both an Airport Express and and Squeezbox III. I can recommend both without hesitation, but if I had to do it over again, I wouldn't buy the Airport Express. The Airport Express is far more user friendly and if you are the kind of plug-and-play person who already has all your stuff in itunes, then it is perfect. But if you have stuff in a bunch of different formats, partuclarly FLAC, then you should get the SqueezBox III. It offers so much more flexibility.

For Windows users, can you use a media player other than iTunes to send music to the AirPort Express? My understanding is that you're locked into iTunes if you want to use the AirPort Express.
