how to make ER4 cable shorter?

hello, before writing, i want you guys to understand i'm not good at writing english i'm korean, and i'm just learning english.
if you let me know gramatic error or something, i appreciate it, that is gonna be some help for me.

now, i've been using ER4-P. I like that sound quality, but that cable is too damn long
i hope that ER4P is shorter than now. like sony ex series.. (short + neck chain)

one of the company in korea let me know they can fix that problem, (they said they can switch the cable with shorter one) but i'm still worry about that process, cause i'm afraid that fixing stuff make sound quality worse than now. (cause that short cable is not ETY's cable..)

I just wonder it is a good idea or not. or can i switch the cable in other place?

Hello, and welcome.

Have you looked into using a cable wrap? For example, the SUMAJIN cable wrap?
