Went out for lunch with a friend and saw this dude wearing a V-Moda M80 with a shiny chrome like plate on each cup.

Of course, you are entitled to your own opinion, but after buying 4~5 $200-$300 iems, I just simply realised it will save me a lot of money by getting what I want and satisfying my thirst for iems, and it'll also allow me to focus more on my studies after buying my dream iem as basically my mind won't be filled about my next Iem purchase. All I just have to do is save for a few months more than usual and I can buy the hiditions
.... Just my 2 cents.

O: All I get to do iss reshell my SE535....... Damn......

Haha dude I know that feeling. All ya have to do is suppress your urge for a change in iem for a while and keep saving up money. In no time, you'll get what you want and won't feel as if what you have isn't enough. Hell, you'll even save money by doing this, why not give it a shot?

WHATS UPPPPP! I'm 15 too! Well, I actually could have get CIEM a lot of times but I ended up putting it in the bank as I tell myself "YOU SIR! You are not ready for those!" + I don't get allowance like most do T.T so I need to have some cash with me in case anything happen to me, not that my parents wont pay for me just that I don't quite like and no, I don't eat during my break time at school xD Getting money from contest, scholarship and of corse Ang Pau is how I usually role xD

Hopefully I win a contest, and get some cha Ching, I am planning to upgrade to mid-fi headphone and a tube amp like the SRH1440/RS1i/MA900 just not ready for CIEM + shipping to Brunei is awfully expensive so I decided to wait till I get older :3

XD

Again, I don't at all anymore allowance for recess... Like never? XD I only get when I hangout with friend and that's less than $10, I give back the change to my parents. So the only source of my allowance is coins! When I buy anything, I make sure it's [example] "$1.10" or "1.05" as much coin I can get in return. Then I spend on some casing and the last purchase was ComplyFoam. Of corse, I get it changed to $10 notes xD

Wow? I don't have as much discipline as you! When I have some coins left over, I spend it on some snacks or some drink haha. To tell you the truth, I get ~~55 dollars a week and save probably about 30. The $25 I use to buy water or eat when I'm out on weekends. That $30 saving per week is also dependent on the week, right now, I have to buy a new cable for my Iem cos my current one cuts out and I also have to buy a replacement glass back for my iPhone ( ;( the camera lens broke ).... So it's pretty tough for me to save money... After these few weeks though, it'll be an all out savings fiesta! $30-40 per week savings and coupled with ang Pau and Christmas money, I'll be getting my CIEMs in the middle of next year smily_headphones1.gif

XD Singaore stuff is more expensive compared to here that's why a little bit hard to save money! Here in Brunei, all you need is $3-5 /person for each meal unless you eat a lot xD public bus $1 to anywhere you go within my district xD

But real audio shop? What real audio shop? XD

LOLOL.... I just went to a REAL audio shop, Stereo..... Reconsidering my plan to get hidition NT6 after hearing the UM Merlin..... It just sounds so good, bro. When I hear the miracle, I was like "meh" but when I heard the Merlin, it blew me away. It has that right combination of clarity and bass that questions my position as a treblehead...... I still plan to get the hiditions but not being able to demo them is a bit scary, I mean I've demoed something that I like a lot but am I really going to pay the extra $500 to buy something that I haven't heard before? Yes, you heard me. The NT6 costs $1500 whereas the Merlin costs just $999. I really wonder whether I'm better off getting the Merlins and a good amp than paying the same for something I haven't heard before and I still have to save to buy an amp..... Any advice?
And oh yes, it's damn expensive here in Singapore. A typical lunch here, counting the drinks and food would start at $5. There have been days I've spent $20-30 on food. Disagree on transport though, the train and bus fees are usually less than $1 and max out at $2. I guess it's cos you don't have the local train and bus pass that's why you think it's expensive haha, the temporary pass costs like $2-5 I think wink.gif

You mean Stereo has a demo unit for CIEM? Cool~!

Anyway, while I was waiting to sit for my POA paper, my classmate was listening to his Beats... And tones of people surrounded him and one of my friend and me was just like "..."

Lol dude, I got this too in my class two years ago haha, a guy bought a girl beats tours for her birthday and everybody was like WOW IS THAT BEATS. Luckily though, me and my classmate quickly belittled it and now nobody cares about beats haha. And yes, they do have demos for CIEMs. However the one I went to, the plaza singapura outlet, only had the BA line from UM and also had no portable amps at all ;( if it wasn't for time constraints, I would have gone to the other outlet with everything I wanted to try. HAIZX
