Monster always made decent cables but that's where the overprice came into play.  Overpriced for what you get!!

The actually have a half way decent short 3.5-3.5 cable you can use for Hp replacement cable for under $20

You are right, I have never owned Monster Turbine.

But I'm comparing the Monoprice stock cable with the standard Beats headphone Monster cable, which are quite a bit better imo.

Well...

 

Today was back/biceps/forearms day at the gym and I finally saw something not "high quality" but at least different from the usual crappy stuff.

 

Drum roll.......prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.............some old lady rockin a Sony XB300!!! lol

 

What's going on Orlando? step your game up!

Saw some really good headphones and earphones in my school in LA. As always there were hundred or so assorted Beats products, but saw a guy in English class sport some Shure SE525's, this random girl with Senn's HD 429's and (this is the big one) a HD 800. The guy with the 800's didn't even have them properly amped, running them straight out of a iPhone. :P

 

On the other hand, spotted some DT 880's in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qUfvijnpok&list=UUi7GJNg51C3jgmYTUwqoUXA , at about 1:40.

HD800s...from an iPhone? WTF? Sounds like one of those idiots who buys a pair of headphones just because they got so much, not caring what they sound like. Its Beats all over again...but with Senns.
