It's not hat hard to drive an hd650. my dt880 250 gets great volume out of a tv's headphone jack.

Only good headphones at my school besides my own are my friend's custom V-moda LP2's.

Sadly I have no "interesting sights" to report frown.gif

 

From the time I've been aware of this thread (many months ago) I haven't seen anybody on the street with any decent headphones really worth mentioning. Only Beats (of course).

 

In the gym I go to there's one guy who has some $20 Sony on-ears (ha!) and another with Skullcandy Hesh. That's about it. Everybody else uses earbuds so who knows.

In my Christmas holiday to London I saw Bose MIE2 variants more than anything else. Must have seen at least 10 of them.

Yesterday on the ferry I saw a guy wearing Sony MDR-XB900's. I had to look 'em up when I got home: I had no idea what they were. Looked pretty sweet, though.

Used to see a truckload of Beats all over my university. The trend stopped for I think 1 year plus, I guess those people already wisened up.
