That being said the only Grado that has impressed me is the RS1i...warm and smooth, even RS2i can't touch that. The SR line are a pain to deal with, physically and acoustically with their shallow pads and treble spikes :(

I couldn't careless about that since I bring my HE-500, AKG701 and ATH AD2000 outside anytime.

I agree. Sound great. Look great. Real leather. Comfy. At least they have some justification over the other consumer aimed products (b0d5d16c_image.jpeg) in build/sound quality to charge that much.

Girl waiting at union station wearing Shure 840s. I haven't seen many of those around, despite being in their hometown.

I owned them at some point and enjoyed them to an extent.
Just that they get so much hate around here.

and RS1i's... oh thats definitely on my list when i reach enough funds

Another problem is that the sound coming out of the headphones may annoy other people around you, it works both ways. If no one complains though then I guess no problems there.

A man in a suit perusing the Bose in a department store.

Business man gotta business. Looks like it's Bose and BMW all the way for him. At least one of those is desirable, I guess.

Saw Ultrasone Pro 900's at the Denver airport today. It was hard for me to keep my cool and not rush up to him asking how he likes them, if I can try them out, etc, being the first time I've ever sen a single pair of "high end" headphones other than Beats, Bose and Skullcandy. I couldn't see his source gear though, that could have been interesting.
