Only ever saw one other person besides myself at my school with anything but iBuds. They were Bose OE2i's or w/e they were.
I wear my 'cheap' Westone AC1's usually when out and about. One day to school I wore my Senn HD598s... About 20 people looked at me like I was an alien. lol

I like the color.
Better than some other colors... blue, white....green...red..
EDIT: Actually, I think they look better than the 600's.... But I demo'd the 600's and I wish I had the money to spend on them lol.
