Only ever saw one other person besides myself at my school with anything but iBuds. They were Bose OE2i's or w/e they were.
I wear my 'cheap' Westone AC1's usually when out and about. One day to school I wore my Senn HD598s... About 20 people looked at me like I was an alien. lol
Well to be dead honest, I think the HD598 is quite ugly with the cheap-looking plastic, "parchment paper" or "faded paper" colour, and burgundy coloured earpads. >.>
How is this an appropriate response? He was saying people looked at him funny because of the size of the cans and/or they didn't recognize it. Then you just come on and say they are ugly.
Mah bad, usually I think "alien" as in it looks out of the ordinary, which it very much does. I've seen plenty of large headphones that look...more normal, even if I don't recognize the brand.
I mean if someone wore this in public...
*pic*
...of course people are going to give you weird looks. XD
Sure some people might like the colour, but most people will think it's just plain out of the blue.
wow... lol
I'd like those just to walk down the street and see what people do.
Yeah it would definitely be interesting to see what happens in-person, hahahahaha.
I still want to know what people in public would think of a "portable" rig that looks like this:
Seriously? A FiiO E9? That's a desktop amplifier. This person modded it though. I can't find that one "portable" rig photo that Jude took last year...

I've heard of people modding the O2 to use batteries...
