Headphone Sightings 2 - Page 10

I vote for posed also. The blurred street traffic should match a blurred person...

EDIT: regardless of the validity, nice photography skills.

Who cares if it's posed or not? It's a picture of how the world ought to look.

Yup. That's Mong Kok!

I saw a guy with a pair of ER6i/ER6 (black ones anyway). He didn't have them completely inserted though, which I thought was a bit strange. He lives in Pollock Halls, Edinburgh, so I guess he's a first year student! It's time for you to reveal yourself

I see somebody wearing some Triports as I type this...

I think I saw some iGrados at UC(cincinnati) campus today. Wasn't quite sure, barely noticed them as he passed by.

the usual Bose QC2's...a couple shure's...

I once thought that the guy sitting by me in my bio class had grados b/c it looked like he had a taiwan case that a lot of ppl use for Grados, but unfortunately they were only QC2's

I saw some of those strange looking rectangle-strip Bang & Olufson headphones today on the T, plus a random assortment of Sonys and a larger headphone I didn't recognize.

I seem to see PX100/200 around all the time. I really don't know why

I saw a girl with k81dj's on UChicago campus. I have a hunch that she's somehow related to head-fi. Don't know many people who would buy those headphones (quite uncomfortable) out of the blue unless they were recommended (are AKG's well-known in the consumer mass-market?).

I don't think so. At least not in the UK. Sennheiser is much more famous as an "audiophile" brand.

I don't see much at my school (UCSD), but I've seen a couple folks on the shuttle sporting KSC75's, which was cool because I was as well.

I've seen the ATH-CM3 earbuds as well, and I think I've seen someone (besides me) with a pair of Portapros.

Oh, and once, I saw this nerdy dude with what I think were Beyer DT990's.

On an iPod.

Unamped.

But yeah, in terms of traditional style cans, I see a bunch of Triports and those cheap Sony cans, the V150's I believe.

I've yet to actually see Grados on other people, surprisingly enough.

Oh crap, what's up dude? This is Shock_Troop, homie.

Anyway, I've seen a couple Grados on campus before. Some chick has a pair of SR60s and some dude has some SR80s.

I used to wear my SR225s to class when I still lived on campus, but now they stay at home. I got a pair of KSC75s which I used as my primary portable can for quite some time (maybe you saw me on the shuttle????), but I now use ATH-A500s on most days since I needed a closed, preferrably circumaural heaphone for work, because I work in the library. I also have iGrados which I prefer to wear on days when I don't have to work since they're far more portable than the A500s.

I also have some K501s on the way that just got shipped out today. Those probably won't see much use outside of my house until I get a PA2V2 and ALO Ipod LOD for Xmas.

lol, we bump into each other on the internet way too much, mang.

Nah, I don't think it was you on the shuttle; the dude was kinda stocky and looked kinda greasy, like he'd smell if you got too close.

I'd totally do the huge cans thing, but I don't have the funds to buy a pair of hifi cans and a headphone amp. Maybe I'll use my financial aid next quarter to buy a pair of AKG K501s or K271s.

I used to use KSC75's as my primary portable cans but one of the clips fell off and lost it somewhere on campus. I just bought a pair of CM700Ti's, so yeah, if you see some Asian dude with long, metal earbuds it's most likely me.
