Headphone Sightings 2 - Page 707

It's been a really stressful (and tiring) 60 hours, but throughout the my trip I've seen some good headphones. Sadly, I've been having some trouble with Wi-Fi so I couldn't type quickly since I have to make do with my phone. That, and I can't write bulleted lists...
Any unidentified headphones (unless brand is identified), as well as Beats Studios, Solos and Solo HDs (except the latest models) will be excluded.

At the Pudong-Shanghai International Airport, I found:
● B&O BeoPlay on-ear (forgot model name)
● Beats Wireless
● Sony on-ear
● Bose wireless headset

On the plane bound for Hong Kong, I found:
● Marshall Major
● Parrot Zik

In the Hong Kong International Airport, I found a store called Empire(?) Audio with these headphones:
● Denon D7100
● Ultrasone Edition 12
● FAD (Final Audio Design) Piano Forte
● Sony MDR-1R
● iRiver DAPs

(All above are for sale and have pics which I'll post below. The rest don't have pictures and/or are spotted on heads.)

● Sennheiser HD 598, Momentum On & Over-Ear (for sale without pics)

● Sol Republic IEMs
● HD 202(?)
(On a head.)

I didn't find anything on the plane to Cebu (which is obviously where I am now), so I'm going to skip to the hee and now. I found a Sony store, which had a PS4 up on display, as well as the MacBook Air-fighting Vaio Pro 13. As for headphones, I found:
● MDR-1R and NC variant
● XB 600? (Forgot the name, but it's the X-Factor headphones without the X-Factor name on them)
● XB60EX and 90EX
● Some of their cheaper (and crappier) IEMs.

I was able to demo the 1R (not the NC) and the 90ex. Sadly I don't have pics since my Wi-Fi sucks. Bummer, but the Piano Forte was a hell of a find.

Cebu is a really quite place compared to KL, Malaysia. Very good place to stay at xD most importantly, food was nice biggrin.gif and only 7-8hours of drive to Brunei if I recall correctly.

Enjoy your trip! And nice sighting! XD

LOL
Glad you enjoyed the food. Which area were you in? I'm at SM City Cebu right now, just waiting.
I'm not so sure if I could enjoy my trip so far. I've been getting only 5-6 hours of sleep because of my old, dusty house. That, and I haven't gotten used to the air around here, and that I could actually get to talk to people here. Luckily I'm heading to Boracay in a few days, despite the fact that it's one one of the most crowded beaches on this godforsaken earth. Ah well, at least I get to see a good view.

Went to SM city last time as well xD currently at B.S.B, Brunei. It's getting quiter and quiter each day due to new laws that kind of chase certain type of populations away but oh well, it's nevertheless, a very safe place to live at (but without any possibility of finding audio store and no club, no k-box no beer/wine store, no smoking at all for adults; all banned)

Have a safe and fun trip biggrin.gif

I went to an after-school console/PC gaming event yesterday and some Counter Strike: Global Offensive players were using Sennheiser HD380 Pro and another with a Sony Z1000 (or headphone with a similar earcup/headband system).

I just noticed your signature.

"Headphone...when worn, can't be seen by your eyes! Don't get bothered by the design, judge it by how it sound!"

I can see the Alpha Dog's boulder-sized earcups at the corner of my eye when it's on my head...

OMG GUYS LOOK WHAT I FOUND!!!!)
A Shure 1540 with a custom hybrid cable connected to an Alo pan am. Sexy as hell. Found it in a headohone shop in bedok mall in Singapore. Audiophiles should visit this bedok mall. This shop sells rhines customs and custom art customs. Another shop here sells the ak10. Looks like SG is becoming more and more of an audiophile community.

A swag senn headphone that is single side cables and resembles a Marshall headphone but with circular cups. And an FAD straight barrel metal iem. Forgotten it's name tho.
