Headphone Sightings 2 - Page 698

Not exactly a sighting. I was having a meeting about a business plan. Mine was about selling audio gears to be exact. The judges [ a friendly one ] said that my plan will not work, there's lacking in pictures in my business plan on what I am selling and who would know what's "Sennheiser" *apply heart breaks* and so I said "Name me 5 audio company that you know of" here's the respond "HAHHAHAHAHA I only know Beats" says the man who were an x-entertainer -_-

Thanks! But if only I can really start it :( I was placed near the last just because they don't understand what I am selling; they wanted a picture of all the products I am selling which is mainly audio gearing -_-

Just a competition anyway, winning it just allow me to buy more audio gears earlier. Waiting doesn't matter to me after all so yeah xD

So while in Newark Airport, I had an 8 hour delay. My friend tells me there's an audio store in there, and leads me to it. I'm thinking this whole time it'd be filled with Beats, Bose, Sony and other sub par brands. I walk in and to no surprise see the staff all wearing Beats (without the cables even attached) around their necks. But something caught my eye. Was that... Beyerdynamic?? Oh boy and Shure! Wow look at this wall, it has quite a nit of nice things!

I inquired about some comply tips for my WooDuo2s, and promplu bought some. Although the Beyers were priced at exorbitant prices, I was happy. They even let me demo all the beyers! I will edit my post later with the name of the store, which escapes my memory at the time.

Unfortunately, I don't think any stores in my hometown have a selection like this. And this was in a generally schiity airport.

Lol.

However, I do recall seeing some Shures at a stall in a massive electronics center called U-Town. The little store had an HD598, an IE80, some Shures (SE315, 435, 535), but no Beyers or amps to my recollection. I really want to go back there if I can.

Every airport I've been lately has been ramping up their headphone selection. O'Hare's is a bit better than Boston Logan, but O'Hare didn't have T70's to demo. Maybe they've added them since the last time I've been there.

The InMotion stores in some airports like Atlanta, Dallas, Houston and Chicago will also let you try out any of the headphones.

If you're going to quote someone who posted a whole bunch of full-sized photos, you should at least put them in a spoiler. XD

Anywho, the T5p is labeled as an "audiophile" headphone? It sounds okay but nowhere even near "audiophile" in my opinion. The bass was fat and loose-sounding, the treble harsh, and the midrange a bit shouty, which is good for vocal monitoring like the Sony MDR-7506, which is 5 times cheaper.

.......holy schiit, never mind. The T5p is freaking $1000+????? That's 10 times the price of the MDR-7506.
Super sad face...

I guess the [in]famous Tesla drivers don't do it justice. :/

This might be a bit overdue. The pictures were taken over a month ago at Terminal 1, Changi Airport, Singapore.

Terminal 3, Changi is so much fun as well xD Theres MOE, Momentum classic, X1, 1R, and bunch of others! Terminal 2 offers Shure, Monsters and Beats, a few Senny. Andddd that's why I always arrive at Changi early whenever i am flying from Changi to Brunei or other country
