Just like the title says, where can I find a good one. I want to find a well made one as I have had one break in half inside the headphone jack. It was not fun to remove. Thanks.

Grado makes a good one. It still might break because a 1/8" plug is fragile.

Edit: I'm an idiot. Trying to provide a quick answer and I messed up.

I wish Grado made one, but they don't. I think you are getting what I want (1/8">1/4") confused with the 1/4">1/8" adapter they make. Anyone else?

Rat Shack (Radio Shack) sells gold plated metal adapter plugs. I swore I had two spare nickel ones in a parts box, but I can't find them now, instead I have 3 sitting beside my stereo (1 gold plated). I use them on my 4 socket amp.

If you don't mind no-name brands just do a search on amazon and you should find plenty of them. Just look up "Stereo Phone Plug" or replace plug with adapter.

Cardas makes one:

It looks to be very high quality and not much more than you would find at Rat Shack.

Check out www.Headphile.com and ask Larry to fix you up with one. That is what I did. I have his BlackSilver cable with a mini (male) to 1/4' adapter (female). He can make up anything you want.

That seems like a decent one. I just need to find a place that doesn't charge a ton for shipping such a small part. Thanks.

Message grandenigma, he can certainly make you one, great guy, and relatively cheap.

Ask Ken at audiolineout.com. I'm assuming he could make one that you would be very satisfied with.
